Happy Time with the Elephants in Mondulkiri Province

After visiting in Mondulkiri province a couple of days, we also went to ride the elephants. These elephants are raised by the ethnic minority in this province. The children and adults were so happy. Some of them just see the elephants from afar or from the pictures or from the videos, but they never see them closely or ride them like this time at all.

The kids went closer, examined clearly the skin, the mouth (the trunk) the ears, the eyes, the feet of the elephant and they say WOW, this elephant is so big, bigger than my dog at home.

Aliya left the elephant behind

Manith carried Aliya because of the weather was so cold in the morning.

Stina and Pr. Deane behind

Stina was afraid of the elephant.

Pr. Deane put her closely to see the elephant so that she could see clearly.

Ney just wanted to touch the elephant.

Aliya was also afraid oo the elephant and Darita reached to touch the trunk, too.

She finally touched it.
